Tanım

Cinerarium of marble with a roof-shaped lid. L. 1 is written on the lid, ll. 2–3 are on the chest.

H. 0.34, W. 0.48, Th. 0.38, H. of letters 0.015–0.02.
Yorum

1 According to the edd. prr., Deskylos is probably identical with the homonymous father of Asklepiades who is named as eponymous priest(?) in no. 603 and no. 604.

2–3 One would expect the name of Ammion’s father so that the formula γυνὴ δέ… would be justified; see no. 617, 3 comm. On Pantainetos, see no. 600, 3 comm.
