- Description
- Late in LPC or early in TR. Fragment of the base and foot. Exterior: part of two rays, their bases placed far apart, spring from a thin line of glaze on the foot. There is a reserved area at the join of the foot and a thin line of glaze on the narrow slant. On the underside of the foot, the flat rim is reserved, the slope is glazed, and what remains of the central convex area is also reserved. Interior glazed. Glaze: exterior, chocolate brown with red edges; interior, reddish brown. Clay: hard and smooth. Orange in hue with a glossy yellow exterior. Munsell nos.: body, 7.5 YR 7/4 (pink); exterior, 10 YR 7/4 (very pale brown).
